Always ring leader if it is wet.  In periods of exceptional weather, please ring the leader to check the walk is going ahead. Walks will take place at the leader’s discretion

Dog Owners. Please note. Due to insurance restrictions dogs cannot be allowed on walks unless they are kept on a lead at all times and are well controlled. Please phone walk leader beforehand to check suitability of walk for dogs.

Sun 5   Watership Down, Ladle Hill, Ecchinswell and Kingsclere. 10 miles.  Start:  10:00 Watership Down CP, South of Kingsclere.  GR SU516564.  Lifts: 08:50.  We go along the top of Watership down, then to Ladle Hill, Which may have some burnt and fragrant orchids. Lovely views all along the ridge. We go through Kingsclere, and finish with a pretty good hill back to the car park.  Coffee Stop/Picnic Lunch.  Leaders:  Helen & Patric.

Tue 7    Devil’s Punchbowl, Hindhead.  Start:  10:00 from the car park by the National Trust cafe. GR SU890358.  Parking is free to NT members.  Non-members do have to pay.  Leader: Sandra G.

Sun 2   Fort Nelson, Nelson Memorial, Boarhunt and Wickham Common. 10.5 miles.  Start: 10:00 Fort Nelson CP.  GR SU607070.  Lifts: 09:00.  We start by Fort Nelson, and head East. We then go in a circle through farmland and common land back to the start.  Some fine views over Portsmouth, Portchester and the Isle of Wight. Not very hilly. Coffee Stop/Picnic Lunch.  Leaders:  Helen & Patric.

Tue 4    Dogmersfield & Basingstoke Canal.  Start: 10.00 at Colt Hill CP (Odiham Wharf), GR SU748518.  Venue: Pass the Waterwitch Pub (RG29 1AL) on your left, over bridge and turn right at the Charity Bins into Car Park.  Varied walk – 2 stiles and one long gentle incline (may be some stretches muddy after heavy rain).  Leader:  Jenny.
