1st Aid It is recommended that walkers carry a simple kit for their own use.
Always ring leader if it is wet.  In periods of exceptional weather, please ring the leader to check the walk is going ahead. Walks will take place at the leader’s discretion
Time given for lifts is the time cars leave the Midhurst Road Car Park.

Dog Owners. Please note. Due to insurance restrictions dogs cannot be allowed on walks unless they are kept on a lead at all times and are well controlled. Please phone walk leader beforehand to check suitability of walk for dogs.
Tuesday walks – Unless stated otherwise, walks are 4/5 miles (2 hours approx).
LIFTS: Since the 2013 AGM it has been the custom to offer a donation of £2 to the driver.

Sun 24  Heyshott and Graffham Downs 8 miles.  Start:  10:00.  Parking near Church of St James, Heyshott,  GR SU897181.  Lifts: 9.10. One steep climb taken at a steady pace, onto South Downs Way at Heyshott Down and Graffham Down.  Should be good views weather permitting.  See Bronze Age burial mounds (barrow cemetery) close by. Bring packed lunch and hot drink.  Leader Penny.

Tue 5    Moor Park Farnham  Start: 10.00 The Six Bells Pub – 55 Hale Road GU9 9QZ. GR SU849479.   Easy walk with no stiles – steps up with handrail to finish.  Leader:  Jenny.

Sun 10  The Sheepleas, Ranmore Common, some views and the North Downs Way.9 miles.  Start:  10:00 Sheepleas CP, South of West Horsley.  GR TQ084514.  Lifts: 09:10.    We go into the Sheepleas, then some wooded parts on our way to Dogkennel Green (Sheep dogs, maybe?).  Then on to Ranmore Common, the North Downs Way and back to the Sheepleas.  Leaders:  Helen & Patric.

Sun 24  Arlesford and Abbotstone Wood 11 miles.  Start 09.45 Abbotstone Wood CP, GR SU585361.  Lifts 08.55.  CS/PL. Easy walk along the Oxdrove Way and Wayfarers. Woodland, riverside and historic locations.  Some walking on minor roads. Leader: Sarah.

Sun 31  British Summer Time starts – clocks forward 1 hour 

The rolling hills and old houses of Mid Hampshire.  9.5 miles.  Start:  10:00 Bramdean Common parking area. GR SU626294. Lifts:  09:20. We pass the Gypsy Church on Bramdean Common, then to West Tisted. Later we pass the site of a Roman villa, and drop down to Bramdean.  Passing Bramdean Manor we go by a beautiful ancient church. Next to Hinton Ampner and Cheriton wood.
