Sun 21  No Man’s Land, Wilderness and Limbo! 10¼ miles.  Start: 09.45Petworth Town Centre Car Park, GRSU976215, Lifts 09.05.  Wonderful views weather permitting.  Possibility of some mud. The walk goes through fields and woodland and finally Petworth Park.  Coffee stop and picnic lunch.  Opportunity to visit tea rooms at the end.  Leader: Caroline
Tues  23 Hindhead, Keffolds Copse and Gibbet Hill 4 miles. Start:  10:00 Farnham Lane FREE car park, GR SU894347.  (Nearest postcode: GU27 1HQ).  This goes over some of the highest points in southwest Surrey with good views in all directions. No stiles, tarmac roads or nettles! The terrain is mostly dry with sandy heath, pine forest and good woodland paths.  Leader:  Sarah.
Sat 27   West Meon and surrounds 5½ miles.  Start: 10:00 West Meon Village Hall, GR SU641242.  Lifts: 09:15.  An up and down circular walk with good views of the Meon Valley.  CS.   Leader: Geoff

NB:Entrance marked by two posts (the metal bar across the top is no longer there). GR SU935446. (Nearest post code GU8 6AY)  Lifts:  09:15. A circular walk, passing through some heath and marshy natural Surrey landscapes. The tracks were dry though when we reccied it – just one area that looked like it might get muddy with rain and there was one short stretch of brambles/nettles.  A few stiles.  CS/PL. Leader:  Sarah.

GR SU900329. Lifts: 08:20.  Buy return to Waterloo, walk to Fleet St, see the Parade, CS, take in a few Blue Plaques, take tube to London Bridge, stroll along the Thames.  I intend to have a late leisurely lunch in a Cafe about 15.00, then take in the Fireworks. Leader:  Bob C

Tues 27 Puttenham Common & Cutt Mill. Start:  10:00 Middle CP (the one with the large tree in the middle) off Suffield Lane.  GRSU912458. Nearestpostcode GU3 1BG. Generally easy with long sandy incline up to the ridge.  One stretch may be muddy after rain.  Leader: Jenny.

Sun 2  Denmead to the start of Cricket 91⁄2 miles. Start 10.00 Kidmore Lane CP, Denmead, SU659121. Lifts 09.15. CS/PL. A series of gentle, but long, hills characterizes this walk. We pass Broadhalfpenny Down, the home of cricket. We then skirt around Scotland and pick up the Wayfarere’s Walk for our return. Leaders: Helen & Patric
